Indignant driver honking and beeping the horn. Highway rage.

We reported final week on three incidents the place hid carry license (CCL) holders in violence-plagued Chicago have been pressured to defend themselves, and it seems the hits simply carry on coming. Additionally, final week, Fox 32 is reporting {that a} highway rage incident within the Crestwood space resulted within the deadly capturing of a tow truck driver.

Crestwood police responded to a report of gunfire round 3:02 p.m. final Tuesday close to 132nd Avenue and Cicero Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a 35-year-old man affected by a gunshot wound. Officers supplied quick help till paramedics from the Crestwood Fireplace Division arrived and transported the sufferer to Christ Hospital.

The police investigation revealed that the confrontation started as a highway rage incident, resulting in a collision between a tow truck and a Buick Enclave close to Cal Sag Highway and Cicero Avenue. Each autos then continued south on Cicero Avenue earlier than turning into the entry highway to Rivercrest Mall.

After stopping, the tow truck driver allegedly brandished a firearm. In response, the motive force of the Buick Enclave, who possesses a sound CCL, drew his personal weapon and fired, hanging the tow truck driver with a single shot.

The tow truck driver later succumbed to his accidents. The Buick Enclave driver is cooperating with authorities because the investigation continues.

The great man could or could not have one on this one. That’s the tough a part of highway rage incidents is they will contain two people who find themselves each respectable of us simply caught up in an excessive amount of emotion on the incorrect second. When you carry a gun, coverage is to at all times function as if everybody else on the highway has one as nicely, and simply let the idiots who can’t drive go. It’s not well worth the potential authorized bother or within the case of the 2 truck driver, damage or demise, as a result of somebody drifted into your lane or reduce you off.
