Professional-gun rights group Gun House owners of America has introduced it’s launching its first-ever digital journal, an unique membership profit for GOA members.

In line with Felisha Bull, Director of Communications for GOA, the brand new journal will construct upon the success of GOA’s State of the Second Podcast and can develop the State of the Second model into long-form storytelling and evaluation, tailor-made particularly for gun house owners.

“State of the Second will present GOA members with in-depth, authentic content material that blends advocacy, trade perception and unique entry,” Bull wrote in a information launch saying the launch. “The journal will characteristic skilled gun evaluations from trusted voices throughout the firearms trade, behind-the-scenes manufacturing unit excursions that take members inside a number of the prime manufacturers within the firearms area, and substantive protection of Second Modification advocacy efforts. By way of reporting on laws, courtroom battles, grassroots activism, and the broader cultural battle for the suitable to maintain and bear arms, State of the Second will equip members with each the data and perspective wanted to defend their freedoms.”

Erich Pratt, GOA senior vice chairman, mentioned the brand new journal will give members info not out there within the nationwide media.

“GOA is dedicated to serving our members, and we’re thrilled to be including one more profit for them,” Pratt mentioned. “It’s the grassroots that propel GOA and its mission to guard, defend and restore the Second Modification. This journal helps us share the tales that the mainstream media doesn’t need to inform and the actual impression that solely GOA members are making.”

As a digital-first publication, State of the Second displays GOA’s continued funding in trendy communications and member engagement, making certain supporters have entry to well timed, related and impactful content material in an evolving media panorama. The journal will probably be printed digitally and made out there solely to GOA members as a part of their membership advantages, reinforcing GOA’s mission to teach, mobilize and lead the grassroots battle for constitutional freedom.

Kailey Nieman, co-host of the State of the Second Podcast for GOA, mentioned the journal will allow the group to current extra vital info to members.

“As our podcast viewers has grown, so has the demand for deeper evaluation and extra immersive content material,” Nieman mentioned. “State of the Second permits us to construct on that basis by delivering a premium publication that informs, educates, and energizes our members—each on the coverage entrance and throughout the firearms group.”

Curiously, the launch of the brand new GOA journal comes only some months after the Nationwide Rifle Affiliation introduced it was ceasing publication of two of its member magazines.
