Two new legal guidelines regulating gun management in California have been signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Tuesday. The legal guidelines prohibit individuals from carrying firearms in most public locations and doubles the taxes on weapons and ammunition offered within the state.

This makes California the one state with a separate tax on weapons and ammunition, in line with Brady, a gun management advocacy group.
