Yesterday, Chief Counsel Joshua Prince of the Firearms Trade Consulting Group (“FICG), a division of Civil Rights Protection Agency, P.C., filed a letter on behalf of Firearm House owners Towards Crime – Institute for Authorized, Legislative and Academic Motion (FOAC-ILLEA) with Barrett Township Chairwoman Gardsy and Members of the Board of Supervisors concerning their current consideration of an illegal and unconstitutional firearm discharge ordinance.

As addressed in FOAC-ILLEA’s letter to Barrett Township, in direct defiance of the legion of precedent from the Pennsylvania Supreme and Commonwealth Courts, the proposal seeks to control the discharge of firearms within the township. As our viewers might bear in mind, in Firearm House owners Towards Crime, et al v. Decrease Merion Township, the Commonwealth Courtroom dominated that discharge provision are preempted beneath Pennsylvania’s firearm and ammunition preemption statutes.

As this ordinance constitutes a felony offense, FOAC-ILLEA is ready to file non-public felony complaints with the Monroe County District Legal professional if the Ordinance, and some other unlawful firearm regulation, is enacted.

Please be a part of me in thanking FOAC-ILLEA for at all times remaining steadfast in its dedication to defending Article 1, Part 21, 18 Pa.C.S. 6120 and the Second Modification. I’d extremely encourage anybody in a monetary place to take action, to donate to FOAC-ILLEA so it will possibly proceed to help vital litigation defending our Rights.

In case your state or federal constitutional rights have been violated, contact FICG right now to debate your choices.
