Gunfire rings out as cartel thugs open fire on police near US-Mexico border

That is the dramatic second a gun battle erupted between police and cartel members close to the US-Mexico border.

Gunfire broke out following the arrest of Ricardo ‘El Ricky’ Gonzalez, the second-in-command of the infamous Cartel del Noreste, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, on February 3.
