Lewes police say they discovered three handguns, two rifles, and a few hundred rounds of ammunition inside an deserted Ford Raptor on Lewes Seaside early Tuesday morning. The Maryland-registered truck has been impounded and its proprietor taken into custody after a search. As a precaution, some Cape Henlopen colleges went into “safe standing,” and Beebe Healthcare took further precautions. The investigation is ongoing.
