U.S. Senator Jon Tester, a longtime critic of the USA PATRIOT Act, voted towards a 3-month extension of the controversial regulation.
Earlier than casting his vote, Tester advised his Senate colleagues that the regulation “invades the privateness of law-abiding residents” and “tramples on our Constitutional rights.”
