U.S. Marines assigned to fifteenth Marine Expeditionary Unit and Philippine Marines assigned to Marine Battalion Touchdown Group 7, third Marine Brigade, conduct a live-fire coastal protection throughout train KAMANDAG 8 at Apurawan Seashore, Palawan Province, Philippines.
KAMANDAG is an annual Philippine Marine Corps and U.S. Marine Corps-led train aimed toward enhancing the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ protection and humanitarian capabilities by offering helpful coaching in mixed operations with international militaries within the development of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
This yr marks the eighth iteration of this train and consists of individuals from the French Armed Forces, Royal Thai Marine Corps, and Indonesian Marine Corps; together with continued participation from the Australian Protection Pressure, British Armed Forces, Japan Floor Self-Protection Pressure, and Republic of Korea Marine Corps.
