The US has despatched its vice chairman, Kamala Harris, to Poland, together with a missile defence system, to reassure NATO allies.
For now, the US has demurred to Ukrainian requests to determine a no-fly zone in Ukraine, as an alternative specializing in drawing a purple line at Poland.
The variety of US troops in Poland is within the hundreds, ranges not seen for the reason that second world battle.
